How do I size my Solar System properly?

Readings Your Home's Daily khw or Unit Consumption are Taken including the Peak Usage,

The Number of Panels and Size Battery Bank to Power Your Home, in conjunction with any other factors, are calculated,

A Proposal is Generated we then discuss with you how best to Optimize and Budget Accordingly,

How Do I Pay for My System?

Many Options Available in the Market,
Some People have Funds Available, if this is not an Option, Please be aware,

There are Finance Solar Companies who can assist you, however the Interest Charged is very High,

Some Companies Rent the System to you, this will reduce your Electricity Bill, BUT replacing the Electricity Bill expense with another Rental or Repayment expense within a Contract. You will have an Option to 'Buy Back' the System after 7years, but at a very inflated Cost.

The preferred and most sensible route is approaching your bond holding Bank, as you are increasing the value of your Home and have them increase your Bond,

How do I Reduce my Electricity Bill before Installing a Solar System?

Reduce your highest Consuming Electrical Appliances by Converting to Alternatives,

- A Single Geyser uses 40% of the Bill,
- Convert to Gas or Heat Pump,
- Convert to Gas Cooking and Heating,
- Convert your Lights to LED's,
- Run your Swimming Pool for a lesser time period,
- Ensure Live In Staff also Cook and Heat with Gas,

This will Reduce your Bill and Load immediately, this is the Figure used in Calculating the Size of your System.

Proper Quality, Lasting and Safe Solar Installations are Done Properly with Qualified Technicians, the Cheap Route is the Nasty Route.

What are the Different Geyser Heating Options?

An Electrical Geyser uses 39% of a Home's Electricity Bill,
Four Alternatives, namely a Gas Geyser, Heat Pump, Solar Geyser and Electrical Geyser with a Timer,

Gas Geyser Heats Water on Demand, is very effective provided Geyser is close to the Point of Use, only downside is that the Gas needs to be Replaced every 6 months**,

Heat Pump uses 1.25kw to Heat a 5kw Body of Water(200l), extracts air from ambient air Heating the Water to be stored in Geyser, extremely efficient especially the Inverter Type Heat Pumps,

Solar Geyser has Water Pumped from the Geyser, through the Manifold on top of the Tubes and Back into the Geyser for use. Two big downsides, it takes up valuable Roof Space for Panels, if the Water in the Geyser is not used in the Day, the Water continually circulates, Heating Higher and Higher, to the point that it places the Geyser System under extreme Pressure via the High Temperatures it reaches, being in a Vacuum, close to 200degrees C, the Geyser is still safe, but the components take wear and tear and do not last long,

If the Solar System has been sized correctly, and depending on your circumstances, you can place the Electric Geyser on a Timer, having the Panels Heat this during the day for Evening usage and then again early Morning for Morning usage,

Are the Panels subject to Hail Damage?

The panels have been designed to withstand the terminal velocity of a hailstone, in 10years we have had two incidents of hail damage, 2panels of 18 and 3panels of 12 from the same hailstorm in the same area, simultaneously the hail storm damaged roof tiles and the clients vehicles.
All need be done is replace the damaged panels with new at a fraction cost, insurance paid for both clients,
